JAMMU, Mar 18: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production presented Dogri musical play “Bin Pani Kiyan Jina” at Durga Bhawan, Disco Morh, Janipur, under its Saturday Theatre series.
The play is based on Jammu on the theme of water purification, water sanitation and save the water. The play was written, produced and directed by ML Dogra, former Regional Director, Song and Drama Division, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.
The play commenced with song “Bin Pani Kiyan Jina ohh”. Thereafter, songs like “Pani Da Mul Pachano”, “Jal Hi Jeeven Hai”, “Thanda Pani Chitti Channani Ratte”, “Maya He Maya”, “Panch Tatav Maian Mukhe Jal Hai”, “Pani Bachana Mata Zaroori” and dances were presented to aware the masses. The music was composed by Master Raju Bajgal and the song sung by the artists of BLSKS and students of the institute.
The singers, musicians, actors and students who participated in the play were Usha Handoo, KK Joshi, MC Kotwal, Hem Raj, Deevam Jandiyal, Renu Saproo, Shan Khan, Sonu Gupta, Himika, Sakshi, Sumita Bhat, Krishna, Gourav Kumar, Yameen, Deevam Jandiyal, Muktiyar, Ananya and Bindiya.
