BLSKS presents ‘Madhunashini’

JAMMU, May 20: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) staged 157th musical play “Madhunashni” as part of its  regular feature in the office premises of Durga Bhawan Janipur, Jammu.
The program was inaugurated by the chief guest V K Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. Among the guests of honour were Dr Tara Singh Charak, Dr Anju Kumari Dogra, A C Bhagat. The play was highly appreciated by the audience. The chief guest lauded the efforts of the organizers in making such awareness programmes colourful and effective on the theme of Hypertension.
Earlier Dr Anju Kumari Dogra, welcomed the distinguished guests and apprised about the importance of holding such health awareness camps in coordination with stake holders in order to get rid of dreaded diseases like Diabetes , T.B. , Cancer , Aids etc. The musical play revolved round ill effects of health and present day life styles of people which give birth to diabetes and hypertension. The musical play was written and directed by M L Dogra, Chairman (BLSKS).
The programe commenced with songs “Bacho Bacho Ayi Sugar ”, “Laga Gran Sade Sehttu Da Mela” which was composed by Raju Bajgal. Besides above singers, musician, actors and students who participated in the programme were Usha Handoo,  K K Joshi, M C Kotwal, Hem Raj, Deevam Jandiyal, Renu Saproo, Shan Khan, Sonu Gupta, Himika, Sakshi, Mohd Afroz, Abreen Fatima, Jyoti Sharma, Sourav Kumar, Krishna, Abhiyamanyu, Dhruv, Rakshit, Ujwal, Mukesh Kumar, Maytri, Mitali, Ananya and Bindiya.  Master Deepak Kumar Dogra presented vote of thanks.
