BLSKS presents ‘Ganga Tera Pani Amrit’

JAMMU, Oct 24:  Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in close coordination with Unison Cultural Troupe, Sangam Tru Art Production presented its 73rd  Musical Play series “ Ganga Tera Pani Amrit”  on the theme of  water purification, water  sanitation and save water at open air theatre, Durga Bhawan Janipur here today.
The musical play was written, produced and directed  by  ML Dogra, former Regional Director, Song and Drama Division  Ministry of  Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. The program was inaugurated by Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, Health Department  and VK Magotra, former Regional  Director of Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India and others.
The program commenced with song “Ganga Tera Pani Amrit  Pal-Pal Mela Hota Jaey”,  “Ganga Par Kari De Ganga Mai”, “Jal Hi Jeevan”,  songs and dances were presented to aware the masses &  the music was composed by renowned  singer Raju Bajgal and the   song were sung by the artists and students of BLSKS. The chief guest  lauded the efforts of the organizers in making such awareness programmes colorful and effective.
ML Dogra, in his address referred to the Sant Bhagirath, who brought Ganga on the earth from heavens. He disclosed that it was 72nd presentation of the Sansthan. Besides above   singers, musician, actors, students, others  who participated in the programme included Raju Bajgal,  Usha Handoo,  KK Joshi, MC Kotwal, Sant Das,  Dhruv Pandit,   Aryan Verma, Surinder Verma and others.
