BLSKS presents 198th musical play ‘Sade Ban Jeev’

JAMMU, Mar 3: To promote the traditional culture of the State and to celebrate the World Wildlife Day, Bharatiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan  presented its 198th  Saturday  series Dogri  musical play ” Sade Ban Jeev” in coordination with  STAP  here at open air theatre , Durga Bhawan , Janipur today.
This year the theme of the celebration in 2018 “Big Cats: Predators Under Threat”.  The Program was inaugurated by V.K.Magotra, former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, who was the chief guest on the occasion. J.K.Raina, Freelancer Producer Director Films, Dr. Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, Health Department were the guests of honor. The day was observed to protect the wildlife  environment  as  well  as with sole aim of rejuvenating  the traditional , primitive  folk,  art, culture of J&K in   particular and  Indian nation in general.
Specially prepared on the theme of Like “Sade Ban Jeev – Sade Ban Jeev”,”Bane Jeeve Gi Bachayo  Umar Apni Badyo” , ” Harna Harna Jungle Charna”,  ” Bane De Jeeve Da  Sab Rakhyo Khyal Je- Nai Te Hona Sada Jeena Mahul Je.” , skits , slogans songs and dances were presented to aware the masses. The music was composed by Raju Bajgal, music instructor.
The chief guest lauded the efforts of the organizers in making such awareness programmes colorful and effective through the children of music and computer institutions.
Welcome address of M.L.Dogra, chairman, Bharatiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan highlighted the history of world Wildlife Day and said on March 3rd, 1973 the United Nations, General Assembly took a stand against to protect endangered species throughout the world.
Hundreds of endangered species were being threatened every year, and extinction was at a staggeringly high rate. Dogra also said “how we can celebrate the day, first thing that it always comes to mind when we think about World Wildlife Day is heading out to our local zoo or botanical conservatory and reminding ourselves of the vast variety of life our world offers”.
The singers, musician, actors and students of music and computer institute who performed in the musical play were   Usha Handoo, Raju Bajgal, Rajni Gupta, M.C.Kotwal, Kuldeep Raj, Dinakar Wedhera,  Azeen Ali, Mohd. Rafiq, Mahi Gorach,  Deevam Jandiyal,  Rakshit Sharma, Ujwal Sharma,  Vansh Raina,Megha Raina  and many others presented the enthralled performance at last of the programe Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks for successful conduction of the program.
