MENDHAR, Aug 10: A blood donation camp was organized today by Bimber Ghali Brigade here in brigade complex near LoC.
The camp was organized under the supervision of Block Medical Officer, Mendhar, Dr Parvaiz Ahmed Khan. Jawans from different units of the brigrade donated blood voluntarily for poor and needy people to save the precious lives during cross border shelling incidents and in case of other medical emergencies.
A total of 62 units of blood of different groups were collected during the camp and the same was sent to Blood Bank of District Hospital, Rajouri. A team of paramedical staff under the supervision of Pathologist, Dr Zulfqar Ahmed from District Hospital Rajouri collected the blood.
