JAMMU, May 17: Bhartiya Kala Sangam (BKS) organized Bhajan Sandhya here, today in the memory of late Govind Kour, who was the first woman sculptor of the State.
The renowned women singers of the State kept the audience spellbound by singing devotional songs during the Bhajan Sandhya.
Vikram Randhwa MLC Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) was the chief guest on the occasion whereas Sohail Kazmi senior journalist, chief patron Bhartiya Kala Sangam T.R. Sharma , Chairman, Ramesh Singh Chib, director Bhartiya Kala Sangam, Gulshan Mahajan ex counselor Bhartiya Janata Party presided over the function.
Baldev Singh Billoria State president BJP, Harbans Choudhary secretary, BJP and Leela Jamwal president Gorkha Nagar were also present on the occasion.
In his address Vikram Randhwa lauded the efforts of the Bhartiya Kala Sangam for presenting such a rich Bhajan Sandhya by inviting well acclaimed singer of the State.
