JAMMU, Apr 13: Stressing the youth to come forward and involve themselves fully in service of nation to build New India as dreamed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP general secretary (Org) Ashok Kaul said the youth have to share a lot of responsibility on their shoulders.
Ashok Kaul was addressing a function at BJP Headquarters here today organized by BJYM led by its State president Anil Mangotra in connection with appointment Er Aijaz Ahmed and Er Bharat Sharma as national vice president and National Executive member of BJYM respectively. He asked the activists of the organization to fan in all corners of the State to take the developmental and welfare programmes of Modi Government and State coalition to people.
He said BJYM in the State has an added responsibility as the Party represents the youth. He regretted that some misguided youth in Kashmir valley were playing in the hands of anti national elements thereby adding to their own as well as problems of common masses. The BJYM cadres should take an onus to itself and fan in all directions and launch programmes to guide these misguided youth and channelize their energies to right direction and nation building, he added.
The function was also addressed by BJP general secretary Pawan Khajuria and Dr Ajay Mangotra. Khajuria said this is for the first time in the history of State BJYM that its four members included Er Aijaz and Er Bharat Sharma have been inducted in the national team and this became only possible due to hard work and dedication of Yuva Morcha.
While terming it a proud movement for the party, Dr Magotra said that BJYM had fielded its three candidates in last elections and all the three emerged victorious. He said every Morcha member should work hard and devote himself in public service. He said the other two members from the State inducted in NE included MLAs Ravinder Raina and Neelam Langeh.
Both Er Aijaz and Bharat Sharma also spoke on the occasion and assured the party that they will work to come to the expectations of the leadership. The function was also attended by incharge morchas, Munish Sharma and stager was conducted by State general secretary BJYM Vikas Choudhary.03
