BJP WC to meet on Jan 15

JAMMU, Jan 13: One day BJP State Working Committee meeting will be held at Samba on January 15.
According to party sources, the Working Committee meet will be preceded by an office bearers meeting at BJP Headquarters here tomorrow in which the resolutions and agenda for the Working Committee will be decided.
Sources said the meeting among others will be attended by Union Minister of State in PMO with independent charge of North Eastern States, Dr Jitendra Singh and national vice president of the Party, Avinash Rai Khanna.
Besides, the senior party leaders from the State including president Sat Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh, other BJP Ministers and MPs including Jugal Kishore Sharma and Shamsher Singh Manhas will be present.
During the meeting various resolutions including political resolution will be presented and discussed threadbare. The resolution will highlight the achievements of State coalition as well as Modi Government at Centre including sanction of package for PoJK refugees, enhancement of compensation for border migrants and other major steps taken for the development of State as a whole.
The district presidents during the meet will also present the report of their respective districts as well as their performances before the Working Committee. The programmes being held by the Party during the year long functions of Deendayal Upadaya Centenary celebrations will also be chalked out. Besides, the programmes in connection with celebration of 350th Prakash Utsav of 10th Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh by the party will also be chalked out, sources added.
