JAMMU, Sept 27: The one day State Working Committee meet of BJP will be held at D N Palace Udhampur on September 29.
According to party sources, the Working Committee meeting will be preceded by office bearers meeting at Institute of Engineers here tomorrow. The Party national general secretary, incharge J&K Ram Madhav and its national vice president Avinash Rai Khanna will attend both the meeting, sources added.
Sources said the two leaders are reaching here tomorrow morning. The Working Committee meeting will also be attended by Union Minister of State in PMO, with independent charge of North Eastern States, Dr Jitendra Singh who is reaching here tomorrow for distribution of free gas connections among the poor people under PM’s Ujwala Yojna along with Minister of State with independent charge of Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharminder Pradhan.
Sources said the State Working Committee meeting has been necessitated as per party procedure after holding of National Council meet which was held at Calicut Kerala on September 24 and 25.
Sources said the prevailing situation in the State especially the mob violence in Kashmir and increasing terrorist attacks will also figure during the meeting and Party will devise strategy how to counter the same.
