Jammu, Sept 27: BJP State President & MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, along with Member of Parliament Shamsher Singh Manhas, State general secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul and MLC Ashok Khajuria, chaired a meeting of State office bearers, district presidents and district Prabharis at party headquarters here today.
The meeting was convened to review the ongoing programmes of the Party besides getting updates related to Mahasampark Abhiyaan, Prashikshan Varg, Aajivan Sehyog Nidhi, organisational election at Mandal level under first phase and reconstitution of organisational Mandals in Jammu province.
The meeting was also briefed about the resolutions forwarded by District Presidents as adopted by district teams to reconstitute mandals in organisational set up of the party and the same were presented in the meeting by District Prabharis, which got the consent and approval in the meeting.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, in his address, said that the most important exercise of the party’s organisational elections is in process and the first phase of the Mandal level will be completed soon, to be followed by District level, which will finally culminate in November with the election at State level. He said these elections at due time and under the laid down guidelines of the party Constitution, are the symbols of our inner democracy.
Ashok Koul asked the District Prabharis in particular to focus on the organisational elections at Mandal level and work in unison with the District President and the local elected representative for wider consensus. He asked them to complete the ongoing programmes in stipulated time. He also stressed on completing the Prashikshan Varg at the earliest.

Uttam Singh, Ramesh Arora, Usha Choudhary, Sakina Bano, Rajiv Jasrotia, Narinder Singh, Bansi Lal Bharti, Sunil Sethi, Chander Mohan Gupta, Arun Gupta, Aseem Gupta, Yudhvir Sethi, Parmod Kapahi, Prof. Virender Gupta, sRajni Sethi, Balbir Ram Rattan, Rajinder Sharma, Naresh Dogra, Arun Chibber, Rashpal Singh, Suraj Singh, Karan Singh and Kranti Gupta attended this meeting.
