BJP reports violation of Model Code of Conduct

REASI, Mar 5: Soon after the announcement of the dates of elections by the Election Commission of India this morning, the BJP candidate for Udhampur-Doda constituency, Dr Jitendra Singh reported violation of Model Code of Conduct on account of a series of inauguration programs being carried out  today by Aijaz Ahmed Khan, Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation in Arnas area of District Reasi.
Dr. Jitendra Singh sought detailed information from Kabla Singh, Senior BJP leader based at Reasi and the same was forwarded to the Election Commission of India and Deputy Commissioner Reasi by BJP Office Secretary Rajinder Sharma.
Speaking to the  media, Dr. Jitendra Singh said that inauguration programme took place at   1 p.m. while the Model Code of Conduct had come into force over two hours earlier.
Dr. Jitendra Singh said that the BJP has geared up its cadre to be vigilant about any violation of Model Code Of Conduct taking place at the  behest of ruling party Ministers or bureaucrats. He appealed to  Deputy Commissioners of the Districts falling in Udhampur-Doda constituency not to succumb to any pressure in this regard because the party is going to take  serious  of it.
