JAMMU, Mar 9: Former Minister of State (MoS) and senior Congress leader Dr Manohar Lal Sharma termed the BJP-PDP Government as big failure and responsible for deteriorating law and order situation in the State.
He said almost every section of society is unsatisfied with the working style of BJP in present Coalition Government and it has totally surrendered before PDP in each and every issue related to Jammu since its formation.
In a press statement issued here Sharma while referring to the situation emerged at Chadwal, Hiranagar, Dayalachak, Koota and other surrounding areas of National Highway after excessive force used on the agitating local people demanded high level inquiry in Asifa murder case and condemned the lathi-charge on agitating people at Chadwal.
Dr Sharma strongly criticized BJP- PDP and said it is has mishandled the situation. He stressed that an impartial high level prove should be initiated at the earliest to restore faith of common man.
Congress leader said that Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti is playing with the sentiments of Jammu people, it may be the districts status and ADC for Nowshera, Kalakote, Sunderbani or Billawar or Basholi, PSC selections and other issues of Jammu. He termed it is a bad trend in the healthy democracy and not good for the unity of the State which is already going through serious crisis for more than two decades.
