JAMMU, Dec 25: Remembering former Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birthday, which is also being celebrated as Sushasan Diwas ( good governance day) State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led by its senior leaders, State president, Ravinder Raina, MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma, former Dy. CM, Kavinder Gupta, State general secretary (Org.), Ashok Kaul and other senior party leaders paid glowing tributes to the great leader here, today.
Ravinder Raina, while addressing the function, said that Atal Behari Vajpayee has set an unparalleled example of public working in the world history. He said that Atal Ji always considered “Rashtra Dharma” above everything and preached the noble thought of selfless working to all. He said that Atal Ji’s words have guided his friend and foes equally. He said that BJP has been celebrating the birthday of its great ideologist for many years as “Sushasan Diwas” across the length and breadth of the country.
He said that PM, Narendra Modi has been following the footsteps of Atal Ji in taking the nation to the top of the world and expressed confidence that he will lead the BJP to a massive win in 2019.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, in his address, urged people to understand the falsehood spread by Congress who have always misguided masses for their political benefits. He also highlighted the contributions of BJP led Central Government under the leadership of Narendra Modi in the development of the State. He said that Indri-Pattal-Jourian to Pargwal bridge and Jammu-Akhnoor four lane have been gifted to Akhnoor belt
Kavinder Gupta, in his address, motivated the people to join the party and connect with the party ideology.
Ashok Kaul, highlighted the life events of Atal Ji in detail. He said that Atal Ji has led the life of a saint while working with simple living and high thinking.
Sat Sharma, former Minister read the welcome address. Sanjay Baru, Baldev Billawaria, Ayodhya Gupta and others were amongst the prominent BJP leaders who were present on the occasion. Many activists from different organisations joined BJP on the occasion.
To mark the birth anniversary of former PM, Vajpayee State BJP led by its general secretary, Yudhvir Sethi held a number of programmes in different wards of Jammu East Assembly Segment in which scores of people joined BJP and pledged to work for releasing dreams of Vajpayee.
Raipur-Domana BJP office bearers paid floral tributes to former Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee. Over three dozen workers of different political parties joined BJP in presence of former Minister, Bali Bhagat on the occasion. Senior leaders of BJP including Sukh Dev Singh Jamwal, Prabhari, State BJP Kisan Morcha, Karan Singh, Ved Parkas, Kildee Singh Chi and Mohandas Bhagat were present on the occasion.
The 94th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna & former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee was celebrated with fervor by the youth of Jammu West under the leadership of Jammu & Kashmir Seh Prabhari Yuva Morcha Ajay Vaid at New Plot, Jammu.
A large number of youth from all walks of life were present on the occasion to celebrate birthday ceremony of former Prime Minister.
BJP Unit Kargil (Ladakh) paid rich tributes to Late Atal Behari Vajpayee on his birth anniversary at BJP Head Office Kargil and termed him a great visionary leader which the country ahs ever produced.
OBC Morcha organised Sushasan Diwas programme at Dogra Hall Jammu on the occasion of AtalBihariVajpayee’s 94th birth anniversary, which was chaired by All Morcha Incharge BJP J&K Munish Sharma along with general secretary, OBC Morcha Braham, Jyot Satti and IT Cell Incharge Jaidev Rajwal. They paid humble tribute to former PM.
ABVP also organised a function at Reasi in which rich tributes were paid to former Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee on his birth anniversary.
The ABVP activists paid floral tributes to Vajpayee. Those who paid tributes included Rishiv Banarthia, Arun Singh, Sanjeev Nag, Manan Pandotra, Harsh Mengi, Jatin Abrol, Sawan etc.
