JAMMU, July 4: District unit of BJP Jammu West paid floral tributes on 116th Punyatithi of Swami Vivekanand here at Rama Lane area.
Former Minister and MLA Jammu West, Sat Sharma (CA) presided over the function which was attended by a large number of people including local residents, political activists and social activists of the area. Prasad was also distributed among the people who attended the program.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma recalled the noble deeds of this revolutionary saint of India Swami Vivekanand and threw light in detail on the life and teachings of Swami Ji. He said that youth must follow the footsteps of Swami Vivekanand and must fix their goals with concern to their future as well.
Sharma also stated that Swami Vivekanand’s quote for youth “Arise, Awake and Do not stop till the goal is achieved” should be adopted by every youth and they will themselves see a major change in their life and they can achieve anything which they have desired for in their lives.
Terming Swami Vivekanand as real KaramYogi , Sharma stated that every Indian must comply with same teachings in their lives what Swami Ji taught and must follow it in their lives which will ultimately result in achieving heights for our nation as well.
Sharma also stated that, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is also working on the steps of Swami Vivekanand for India so that that the nation could become a world power in coming times.
District president , Ayodhya Gupta, Dr Pardeep Mahotra, State vice president, BJYM, Karan Sharma, Mandal president, Jeet Angral, Veenu Khanna, Jaideep Sambyal, Puneet Mahajan, Adv Rajesh Gupta, Asha Sharma, Veena Gupta, Deepak Kumar, Kiran Wali, Reena Gupta, Yash Pal Shivgotra, Surjit Chib, Rajesh Saini, Reema Bakshi, Sharma Tailor and several others were also present.
