BJP MLA to bring Privilege Motion against officer

JAMMU, Jan 16: BJP MLA from Chenani, Deena Nath Bhagat today took serious note of violating protocol by some officers of the State Government and said that he will bring a Privilege Motion against one senior officers of the State Government for not permitting him to meet him in his office chambers.
Terming it a violation of the protocol, he said that he will bring a Privilege Motion against the officer. He was supported by other MLAs of ruling coalition who too showed their concern over the behavior of the officer and said shame, shame.
The MLA said that when he tried to meet the officer in his office chambers recently, the officer informed him through his peon to wait in the room and demanded action against such officers.
Earlier the House witnessed the noisy scenes and verbal duel between the BJP and NC MLAs during the discussion on budget when NC, MLA Abdul Majid Larni referred to arrest of Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah and also made some remarks against the former Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammed Sayeed and held him responsible for the turmoil saying that in 1987 he (Sayeed ) was the president of PCC-I.
Countering him BJP’s Dileep Parihar stood up from his chair saying that you rigged the elections at that time provoking NC’s Ali Mohammed Sagar who too stood up from his seat and countered the BJP MLA. “ Do you know what are you saying”, said agitated Sagar. “In which world you are living about whom you are talking. These all sins are yours”, he added.
However, Dileep Parihar and Shakti Parihar also countered the NC leader vociferously.
Earlier Deena Nath Bhagat while welcoming regularization of daily wagers, demanded that every MLA be given 50 daily wagers for appointment and money for Centrally sponsored schemes be also released.
He expressed concern over shortage of doctors in health sector and settlement of other demands of his constituency.
