JAMMU, Jan 12: Former minister and senior Congress leader Raman Bhalla today alleged that BJP Ministers are non-performing liability for the people of Jammu region who voted them to power.
He said the public anger against them and the Coalition Govt is rising high as the present dispensation has literally failed to deliver good to the people.
Addressing deputation from Chatta Ratisarai Domb and Sripari Mohalla of Gandhi Nagar Constituency here today, Congress leader said that BJP is a party with double standard. What they commit before the elections do not fulfill on attaining power. He said the tension on the border, marginalized communities still deprived are the live examples. He termed BJP the merchant of day dreaming and cautioned people not to fall in their trap.
Bhalla pointed out that the DPs were only used as vote banks by the BJP and after gaining power on their votes, the poor people have been left to the mercy of God. In contrast, same BJP Government has kept silence over compensation of Rs 5 lakhs to the stone palters and Government jobs to them. Trouble makers were preferred by the Coalition Government over the nationalist people, who lost everything for the country but still waiting for their settlement.
“The BJP leaders who used to claim they are well wishers of Jammu have gone on silent mode for their political gains which is to remain in power because they know in next assembly elections, people will not vote them,” he added.
Terming PDP-BJP coalition regime, especially BJP ministers, as non performing liability, Bhalla recalled that people of Jammu region had voted over-whelmingly in favour of BJP, with a hope that their wishes would be addressed, but people now are feeling cheated and betrayed by the BJP leaders and ministers for their total surrender.
“Performance of BJP ministers appears only on papers. State has been plunged into unprecedented crises due to the mis-goverance of the present regime and youth are the worst victim of the wrong policies of the Govt. On one hand Kashmir valley is witnessing unrest, on the other, BJP ministers, have miserably failed to connect themselves with the common masses, “Bhalla added.
