BJP Mahila Morcha organises meet at Bhaderwah

BHADERWAH, Nov 9: To strengthen the party among fairer sex and to apprise and educate the female workers of far off areas about the policies and flagship programs launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the welfare of common masses especially women, BJP state Mahila Morcha organised a meet titled ‘Badhta Bharat Badalta Bharat Morcha’ for the female rural workers of Chenab Valley in presence of its State president, Poornima Sharma here, today.
Beside dozens of female workers and office bearers of BJP Mahila Wing from district Doda, BJP district president Advocate Manjeet Razdan and all the 9 Mandal Pradhans also participated in the one day meet here.
Purnima Sharma apprised and educated the female workers about the party programs and flagship schemes launched by the Union and State Government. She also stressed upon Mahila Morcha cadre to apprise women folk of remote areas about the welfare schemes launched by BJP.
“Morchas are constituted with an aim to strengthen the parent organization, our motive to hold a meeting here is to meet with the female cadre of far off areas, listen to their problems and act as a bridge between them and our ministers at Centre and State simultaneously for speedy redressal of their issues,” said Poornima Sharma.
A large number of Mahila Morcha workers and office bearers from entire District Doda including Bhaderwah, Chiralla, Gandoh, Bhagwah, Dessa, Thathri, Marmat and Bhalla gathered here today to attend the meet and apprised the State body about the progress and problems of different women oriented schemes recently launched by Prime Minister and State Government.
Beside leaders of State Mahila Morcha, BJP district president advocate Manjeet Razdan also addressed the meeting and stressed upon the women cadres to spread the achievements among the women folk of rural areas which according to him eventually strengthen the party at grass root level.
Prominent among those who attended the meet include BJP Mahila Morcha general secretary Anjana Dogra, Raj Singh Kotwal, Sanjay Saraf, Bipan Sharma etc.
