BJP leaders hold rallies, highlight Modi Govt’s achievements

JAMMU, Mar 13: In connection with Party’s ongoing Vikas Sushasan Sankalap rallies, BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma (C.A), along with Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma, ex minister Bali Bhagat and other leaders, addressed a massive public gathering in Barnai area of Raipur Domana constituency.
Sat Sharma, while addressing the gathering, said that today the entire nation is feeling that after long the country has a strong leadership which has displayed real concern for the development, welfare and took India at respectable position at international level.
He said that PM Narendra Modi has taken a number of initiatives for the economic and social upliftment of women; welfare of farmers, youth, ex-servicemen; launched innovative schemes aimed at providing employment opportunities etc. In Jammu and Kashmir State, the BJP was in power for ten months and at the insistence of the party and ministers, various path breaking decisions were taken and a strong drive started against corruption, work culture was introduced and in reality it was good governance.
Jugal Kishore Sharma said that the party activists should take it was their duty to reach the masses in their respective areas and educate the people about projects related to rail linking, recruitment of border youth in IRP battalions, Fasal Bima Yojana besides tough action against anti-national elements. He said that the people should avail the benefits of various centrally sponsored schemes and each one of us has to help them in this regard.
Bali Bhagat, on this occasion, said that BJP formed Government in the State for the first time and it was a golden period in the history of Jammu and Kashmir as corruption was rooted out, massive developmental activities were initiated, welfare schemes for women in particular were launched, thousands of kanal of forest land got retrieved from illegal encroachers, transfer industry was abolished and total transparency and accountability was restored in the governance.
He asked the party activists to serve as a bridge between the people and the organisation to get their support in forthcoming elections of ULBs and Panchayats and urged the JMC to correct the electoral rolls as majority of voters are missing in the lists.
The gathering was also addressed by State Vice President Karan Singh, State secretary Vikram Randhawa, district president Omi Khajuria and Mandal presidents, Women Wing.
BJP leaders Sheela Handoo, Mukesh Sharma and others were also present in the rally.
Meanwhile Jan Vishwas Yatra was organized by Party in Ward 37, Janipur in which members of Jammu district participated. They included district president Ayodhya Gupta, Janipur Mandal president, Vijay Sharma, Janipur Ward president, Sahil Gupta, ex Corporator Ravinder Gupta and Ramesh Khajuria  vice president Janipur Mandal.
