RS PURA, Nov 28 : Former Member Parliament and senior Congress leader Madan Lal Sharma has alleged that BJP has failed to properly handle the border issue of the area.
While campaigning for party candidate from RS Pura, Suman Bhagat here todaty the Ex-MP expressed dissatisfaction over the Modi Government’s handling of border issue and said that yesterday incident again has exposed the nefarious designs of enemy across the border. He appealed the Prime Minister to bring a permanent solution of peace to the border as the people are living under continuous stress and fear.
Coming down heavily on BJP, Madan Lal said that BJP has not fulfilled the poll promises which they made before Parliamentary elections and were running divisive politics which will not provide any solace to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, particularly from Jammu region. They are facing multi-dimensional issues which the Central Government can address. He said if Congress is voted to power they will continue their developmental agenda which Azad led regime had visualized.
Mr Sharma said that Congress is a party which can look after the aspirations of all sections of Society and appealed people to vote and make Suman Bhagat victorious. On the occasion a large number of youth and women from BJP and NC joined Congress.
Mrs Bhagat, a former minister and Congress candidate for RS Pura constituency appealed the people to cast vote in her favour by pressing button on EVMs on December 20.
Prominent among others who spoke on the occasion included Hans Raj , Block president, Amar Singh Charak, vice president, Rajinder Singh, Secy PCC, Ch Mohan Singh, Badri Nath Sharma and Sarpanch Ch Bachan Singh.
