BJP Displaced Kashmir nominates office bearers

JAMMU, Dec 16: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kashmir Displaced district in its meeting here, today discussed organizational matters and nominated booth presidents of Jawala Ji Mandal and Durga Mandal.
The meeting was held under the leadership of Party State vice president, Moti Kaul and it was also attended by G L Raina (Ajay Bharti) MLC.
State Working Committee member T N Bhat highlighted role of office bearers in the organization.
In his address, Moti Kaul urged the office bearers to work for mitigating the sufferings of displaced people. Every member should reach to the people and should ask them to strengthen the BJP. He also explained that how booth and Mandals can make organization strong.
District president, Chand Ji Bhat nominated Bushan Lal Razdan as general secretary (Org). Rakesh  Fotedar, Rakesh Koul and Vimal Ji Raina as secretaries and Raja Ji Tickoo was declared as Jawala Ji Mandal president. Besides, the new booth presidents of Jawala Ji Mandal and Subash Gadoo Durga Mandal were also announced.
In his address, MLC, G L Raina asked the partymen to launch a door to door campaign asking people to enroll their eligible children in the voter list so that they could participate in the political system which is very important for the Kashmiri displaced people. He also expressed his concern over the encroachment of land of KPs in Valley and warned the land mafia against the same.
Vice president of the party, Ravinder Riana, Mahila Morcha president, Sweety Koul its general secretary, Babita Kour and State Executive Member, Veena Gurtoo also attended  the meeting.
