JAMMU, Aug 11: To discuss the prevailing political situation in the State especially in the wake of controversy surfacing on Article 35 A and other organizational matters, the BJP Core Group is meeting here tomorrow at Party headquarters.
The BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav, who is also incharge of the State along with Party national vice president and Prabhari J&K Avinash Rai Khanna were likely to participate in the meeting which among others will be attended by Union Minister of State in PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh, party president Sat Sharma (CA), Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh, Minister of Health and Medical Education, Bali Bhagat, MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, Party general secretary (Org) Ashok Kaul, former president and MLC Ashok Khajuria.
Sources said the Core Group among other things will have deliberations over the recent political developments in the State especially in the wake of controversy created by opposition parties on Article 35 A. The meeting will also discuss the organizational matters and other related issues.
In addition to it, BJP has also convened a three day training programme of ‘Vistarks’ from tomorrow at Trikuta Yatri Niwas in Ved Mandir Ambphalla in which senior party leaders will also participate.
