BJP continues with its ‘Jan Sampark Yatra’

JAMMU, Mar 3: On its 17th day, the BJP Jan Sampark Yatra reached Suchetgarh Constituency today. Led by the State president of the party & MLA Sat Sharma, along with Minister for PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control, Sham Choudhary, State Secretary, Ch. Vikram Randhawa and district president Brijeshwar Rana, the yatra commenced from village Dewan Garh and after passing through Magowali, Dablehar, Bajechak, it concluded at Badyal Qazian in Suchetgarh block, where a massive public rally was held.
While addressing the public at Bajechak and Badyal Qazian, Sat Sharma said that the motive of taking out ‘Jan Sampark Yatra’ by the party is to contact the people of rural areas and highlight the schemes and projects of Narendra Modi Government, particularly those related to the welfare of the farmers. He said that the BJP led NDA Government understands that the country cannot progress and prosper if its villages do not have good means of communication, basic infrastructure for education, health services, means of irrigation, quality seeds, pesticides, fertilizers and some kind of guarantee in case of crop loss.
While stress is being laid by Modi Government on proper road connectivity with rural areas, it has launched PM Fasal Bima Yojana which provides for financial assistance in case of crop failure due to natural calamities, Sat said and added that the anti-farmer policies of previous Congress governments forced the poor farmers to commit suicides. He asked the party activists to guide and help the farmers and border people to avail the benefits of Centrally sponsored schemes launched for the welfare.
Sham Choudhary said that the schemes launched by Narendra Modi for the welfare of farmers and rural population themselves speak that the BJP Government at the Centre is concerned for the economic upliftment of the farming community and want to bridge the gap between urban and rural India by initiating development projects in rural areas. He also spoke on the irrigation facilities being provided by the State Government.
Vikram Randhawa, who is also the district Prabhari, said that during the last over 16 days, ‘Jan Sampark Yatra’ passed through many villages of Suchetgarh constituency and there has been overwhelming response as a result of which the party has reached more closer to the people living in far flung and remote areas.
Swaran Singh Chib, Monika Sharma, Neelam Sharma, Sat Paul Pappi, Naresh Sharma, Akash Chopra, Gorav Sharma, Jasvir, Dr PP Singh, Capt. Karnial, Parveen Pinka, Ashok Choudhary, Garu Ram & Ankush Sharma also accompanied the Yatra.
