BJP accuses State Govt of neglecting flood hit people

ANANTNAG, Nov 23: BJP candidate from Bijbehara Assembly Segment Poshkar Nath Pandita today held poll meetings in Akura, Nambal, Nanil and Sheikhpora villages of the Constituency.
Mr Pandita, while hearing the problems of the people said that some of the villages have suffered heavy loss due to floods in September this year and Government has totally neglected them. He demanded that these people be paid compensation and a survey be conducted for the losses suffered by them.
Mr Pandita assured the people that if BJP comes to power it will solve their all problems on priority basis. He accused the Government for neglecting the flood hit people of the area and demanded that they be provided compensation at an earliest.
Pandita said good governance, strengthening of democratic institutions, eradication of corruption and dynastic rule in the State is the main poll plank of BJP. He accused the successive governments for their failure in strengthening the basic institutes of democracy in the State and said that hollow promises were made by both Congress and NC with the people while PDP too betrayed them and despite being in opposition it failed to highlight the real issues of the people, he added.
