Bill to amend State Commission for Backward Classes Act, 1997 introduced

SRINAGAR, June 29: Minister for CA&PD Choudhary Zulfkar Ali on behalf of Minister for Social Welfare today introduced “A Bill to amend the Jammu & Kashmir State Commission for Backward Classes Act, 1997,” already published in an extraordinary issue of the Government Gazette.
The Minister also introduced “A Bill to provide for the regulation of chit funds in the State and for matters connected therewith (L.A. Bill No 11 of 2016)” already published in an extraordinary issue of the Government Gazette.
Choudhary Zulfkar Ali today introduced “A Bill to amend the Jammu and Kashmir Brick Kilns (Regulation) Act, 2010 (L.A. Bill No. 10 of 2016)” already published in an extraordinary issue of the Government Gazette.
The Minister also laid on the table of the House a copy of the Annual Audit Report of the J&K State Finance Corporation for the year 2013-14 and 2014-15, as provided under Sub-Section (7) of Section 37 of the J&K State Financial Corporation Act 1951.
