JAMMU, Aug 11: Police arrested a biker along with large quantity of illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a police team led by SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary under the supervision of SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal laid a naka at Peer Baba Banota and intercepted a motorcycle bearing registration number JK02F-1321.
During checking, police recovered 50 pouches of illicit liquor from the possession of the biker and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Arjun Choudhary, son of Babu Ram of Banota. He was also arrested earlier on May 31 this year for selling liquor pouches near his house.
A case under FIR Number 179/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at police station RS Pura and investigation started.
