NOWSHERA, Nov 9: A motor-cyclist was crushed to death under a bus in Lam area of Nowshera in district Rajouri today.
Identified as Balbir Kumar (23), son of Bal Krishan, resident of Lam village, the youth left for Nowshera from his village in the afternoon. He had moved hardly 500 meters away from his house when bus No. JK02M/5607 knocked him down. He was crushed to death on the spot.
The driver of the bus escaped from the spot after accident. The police seized the vehicle and removed the dead body of the deceased to Nowshera Hospital for postmortem. A case was registered in this connection.
