Bhardwaj gets Distinguished Alumnus Service Award

JAMMU, Feb 15: Son of the soil Nirmal Kumar Bhardwaj, who is founder CEO of Resurgent Group based in Bangalore, has been conferred with distinguished alumnus Service Award by India’s first and foremost Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Kharagpur.
The Chairman Board of Governors, the Director,  Deputy Director,  Deans  and   Registrar of Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur conferred  Distinguished Alumnus Service Award on Nirmal Kumar Bhardwaj, B Tech (Hons.), 1981 Batch, during recently held 14th Global Alumni meet by IIT Kharagpur.
Bhardwaj is a student of Government High School Jullaka Mohalla Jammu. He was second position holder in J&K Board of Secondary Education in the year 1975 and again a position holder from GGM Science College Jammu, Jammu University. After graduating from IIT Kharagpur in 1981, he did his post graduation from IIM Ahmedabad in 1983. He has worked in corporates like TATA Group, Carrier Corporation USA and Churchgate Group London.
Currently, he is founder CEO of Resurgent Group based in Bangalore. He was also founder CEO of The Bengaluru Angels, Riritana Hospitality and his professional interests lie in technology, management and entrepreneurship.  He is also member of the Governing council of The Business School Jammu, Jammu University.
Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur recognizes the professional achievements and contribution of its alumni through the Distinguish Service Award each year on the Annual Convocation Day. Several notable alumni have received this prestigious Award.
