Bharat Petroleum launches ‘Speed’, displays Automation

DODA, Oct 21: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), the first company to launch the premium fuels in the country, launched “Speed” in the district during an impressive function held here today.
Deputy Commissioner, Doda, Bhupinder Kumar, along with Territory Manager (Retail), BPCL, in the presence of SSP Doda, Zahid Manhas, launched the “speed” by fuelling the first vehicle formally at BPCL’s Retail Outlet M/s International Auto Aids. Among the others, BPCL customers, prominent citizens and other district functionaries were present
Earlier starting the function, Arsalan Riyaz (Executive Sales) displayed the Corporation’s initiative of Automation to the gathering. This initiative involves the remote monitoring of the Retail outlets by the company through its back end servers and data related to stocks, supplies, deliveries, etc. Customers can also get an instant SMS on fuelling, if the same is registered in the company.
Speaking on the occasion Territory Manager (Retail), Rajesh Sharma, highlighted that though Automation and environment friendly green fuel “Speed” are the two customer centric initiatives of the Corporation, which are in place from the last so many years but awareness among the masses can only be done by organizing such functions.
