Excelsior Correspondent
Jammu, June 29:    Vice president PCC and former minister Raman Bhalla has lashed out at BJP-PDP coalition for stoppage of the tradition of Summer Secretariat practice in Jammu, causing great hardships to the people of Jammu region.
Describing decision of the Government as totally ill advised on the part of BJP which claims to be the champion of the rights and interests of Jammu region, Mr Bhalla said that such ill advise decision has put the people in great hardships. He said that practice of Summer Secretariat in Jammu during summer and vice-versa in Srinagar during winter was making the ministries of different departments available on rotational basis with advance information to the people so that they could approach the concerned minister as per their respective problems.
He said that the ministers and ruling party leaders want to enjoy the climate of Kashmir valley during the heat of summer in Jammu while people of the region face different kind of problems. He said that this decision of the present coalition in which BJP is sharing power is another step in series of anti-people decisions/betrayals to the people of this vast region.
Bhalla strongly criticized BJP leadership for its surrender on the equitable treatment and safeguarding the interest of three regions of the state. He said that the party has hoodwinked  the people of this country, especially from Jammu region on the name of philosophy of Shyama Prasad Mookerjee regarding abrogation of Article 370 for achieving ‘Ek Vidhan, Ek Nishaan, Ek Pardhan’ but after the meek surrender of the BJP over its basic philosophy and ideology has lost any moral right to remember Late Mookerjee.
