JAMMU, Mar 17: Continuing his streak of convening public meetings to address the grievances of common masses, Sub Divisional Magistrate North Jammu, Mohd Alyas Khan today held a public grievance redressal camp at village Bhagani of Tehsil Bhalwal where people strongly projected the demand of setting up of J&K Bank branch there.
Tehsildar Bhalwal Mohit Gupta, BDO Mathwar, BMO Bhalwal Dr Manzoor Hussain and other officers of line departments besides officials of Revenue Department and general public were present on the occasion.
People apprised the SDM about the issues pertaining to drinking water, electricity, road connectivity, education and others. They also put forth the demand for establishment of branch of JK Bank in the area.
The SDM gave a patient hearing to the grievances of the people and issued on spot directions to the concerned departments to resolve them at the earliest.
