JAMMU, Mar 22: Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri’s Pencak Silat team won bronze medal in the recently conducted All India Inter-University Pencak Silat Championship 2018-2019. Prof Javed Musarat, Vice Chancellor and the Management of BGSB University lauded the efforts of the players and their support staff for this achievement.
The Championship was hosted by Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar Punjab. Suhail Ahmad Baba, B. Tech 5th Semester Civil Engineering Student won bronze medal in 70-80 kg weight category, who was also Captain of the Pencak Silat team of the University.
32 teams all over the country participated in the said Championship for both men and women category under the aegis of the Association of Indian Universities.
