BFDC demands Shrine Board for Mata Maha Kali Temple

JAMMU, Apr 25: Reiterating its stand on establishment of Shrine Board for Mata Maha Kali Temple, Bahu Fort Development Committee (BFDC) held a meeting at village Talhar, RS Pura.
While speaking, Krishan Lal Sharma, vice president, BFDC said that they are not going to stop their agitation till the Government and Governor fulfilled their demand for constituting Shrine Board for Mata Maha Kali Temple Bahu Fort.
He added that the Government should issue white paper and give reason why they are hesitating to constitute Shrine Board though they constituted Board for Mata Bala Sundari and also for Mata Sukrala.
Ishant Gupta, spokesman appealed the Government to look into this matter and constitute Shrine Board for Mata Maha Kali Bahu Fort also, so that the development works could take place and Bawe Wali Mata Mandir also becomes an attracted tourist place.
Raghav Gupta, geneal secretary, said that Government is making tall claims of taking steps for the promotion of religious pilgrimage tourism in the State, but ignoring the demand of constitution of Mata Maha Kali Shrine board. He appealed the people to come forward and fight for this noble cause.
Naresh Kumar, incharge, RS Pura of the committee, appealed the Government to kindly look after monuments and places of Jammu so as to attract devotees from across the country.
Among others present were Nikhil Magotra, secretary, Vivek Sharma, Sunil Kumar, Surinder Kumar, Sheetal Parshad, Mukesh Salgotra, Dr Bachan Lal, Tilk Raj, Prab Dayal, etc.
