Betab conducts creative writing camp at Shimla

SHIMLA, May 18: A two day creative writing camp organized by National book trust concluded today at Shimla.
BN Beatb, renowned writer and News Reader from J&K State conducted two day sessions for young students of 8th and 9th class students of Government Senior Secondary School Shogi and Government senior secondary school Shimla.
About 5oo students participated in the event. They ware imparted training in creative writing and were taught tit bits of writing prose, poetry and fiction. Betab and a drama artist from Kulu, Lehar Singh conducted jointly a session of teaching the students to dramatize a story.
The training was such in which the students were encouraged to think create and then dramatize on spot a story.
Betab told EXCELSIOR that the children showed great skills and keen interest in the workshop.
The workshop was a part of the book festival held by NBT at Shimla.
