‘Belle Moi-Beautiful Me’ bags Best Film Award in Kashmir World Film Festival

JAMMU, Dec 9: Nupur Sandhu’s internationally and nationally accoladed film Belle Moi-Beautiful Me got Best Film Award in Experimental category at Kashmir World Film Festival.
It is a short animation film which in just 8 months of its screening has travelled to 9 film festivals and got awards for Best Film in Animation, Best Script & Concept, Best Experimental Film and many other categories.
Written, directed and produced by, Nupur Sandhu, the film is now officially selected for 11th Jaipur International Festival to be scheduled in January 2019.
Nupur says Jammu has given her a lot and she is in gratitude to this land. Her play ‘In her shoes’ travelled six states doing 11 shows and her ‘Save Water’ short film was released by former Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, NN Vohra. She was recently awarded at Kolkata as one of the 100 inspiring authors for her two books.
Nupur announces her third short film Santa without a Claus ‘E’. It’s a conversational light film with deep message. This film Santa without a Claus ‘E’ has been shot in just two and a half day and carries deep message. A fun loving short film will be ready for the festivals this December, Nupur said.
