JAMMU, Dec 19: An unknown beggar was found dead early this morning on footpath along Shalamar Road, here.
According to a police spokesperson, the dead body was spotted by locals who informed the police, which shifted the body to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification and postmortem.
Prima-facie it appears that the beggar died due to cold, he said, adding a case in this regard has been registered at City police station.
