JAMMU, Apr 19: A five-member Bar Council of India (BCI) team arrived here today to enquire into much-publicized Rassana rape and murder case and hold detailed deliberations with the lawyers fraternity.
The five-member team of BCI comprising of former Chief Justice of High Court Justice Tarun Aggarwal, S Prabakaran, Rameshchandra G Shah (both Co-Chairman), Razia Beig, former Chairman Bar Council of Uttarakhand and Naresh Dixit, Advocate Patna High Court reached Jammu this morning as per the decision taken in the General House of the BCI on April 15.

In the afternoon the BCI team visited Kathua and held detailed deliberations with the members of Bar Association of Kathua.
Tomorrow, the BCI team will hold discussion with the members of J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu in the court complex at Janipur.
After listening lawyers fraternity of Jammu and Kathua and also the relatives of Rassana rape and murder victim the BCI team will prepare report and place the same before the General House of the Council.
