BCCI appoints Pawan as Strength, Conditioning Coach for U-19 Camp

JAMMU, Apr 25: Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI)-NCA appointed Pawan Kumar, son of late Sham Lal Sharma (Retd SAI Hockey Coach), resident of border district of Poonch and employee of the Department of Youth Services and Sports as Strength and Conditioning Coach for Under-19 Boys East Zone Cricket Camp, being held from April 22 to May 18, 2018 at JSCA International Cricket Stadium, Ranchi.
Mr Pawan is the only BCCI-NCA qualified Strength and Conditioning Coach from Jammu and Kashmir.
Keeping in view his performance of last 3 years, Pawan was promoted and appointed as Strength Coach with Under-19 team.
Pawan has the honour of accompanying JKCA Ranji Trophy and Under-23 teams as Strength and Conditioning Coach since 2011.
He works as Lecturer in Physical Education in the Department of Youth Services and Sports.
