Basic facilities will be provided to everyone: Priya

JAMMU, Aug 12: BJP Spokesperson, Former Minister and MLA Priya Sethi today inspected the construction work of deep drain on Gummat road near JP Chowk which was a long pending demand of people of this area whose houses used to get flooded with water during rainy season.
Once the deep drain is completed, the water will not spill over roads and will not enter into the people houses.
The amount for the construction of drain which amounts to Rs 6.50 lakh has been given by Former Minister and MLA Priya Sethi from her CDF to help people of Ward Number 19 to get relief from rain water fury.
Priya Sethi also inspected the work that was undergoing and expressed her satisfaction.
Speaking on the occasion, Priya Sethi said BJP is seized of people’s issues but this is unfortunate that since ages there had been different Governments in power but people still crave for minor issues including that of civic and cleanliness.
“Now BJP has taken over reins of country, development will reach masses and everyone will be provided with all minimum basic facilities needed to live honorably”, she added.
She stated, it was on the demand of people that this deep drain work has been taken up and will be completed well within time. She said water that used to enter into the shops in rains and now will not happen. There was always a danger of spread of epidemics because of water stagnation at one point but fresh modifications and deep drains will help residents and shopkeepers of JP Chowk, Chand Nagar besides Vinayak Nagar.
Sethi assured people that there issues will be sorted out on priority.
The officials from the PHE and PDD also accompanied the Former Minister.
Among others present included Anju Dogra, Rajesh Dogra, Anil Gupta, Brij Lal, Rattan Singh, Sardari lal, Swaran Singh, etc.
