SAMBA, Nov 4: Bari Brahmana police apprehended six gamblers with stake money of Rs 2000 and playing cards from Telibasti area. The arrested persons included Farman Ali S/o Syed Mohd of Badhori, Nami Lal S/o Duzan of MP A/p Kala Gate Bari Brahmana, Uttam Singh S/o Prem Singh of UP A/p Kalagate Bari Brahmana, Gokul Patel S/o Dinesh Patel of MP, A/p BariBrahmana, Krishan Mehtab S/o Kamal Mehtab R/o Nepal A/p Kalagate Bari Brahmana and Pawan Kumar S/o Jameet Raj R/o Sanjay Nagar Jammu.
The police has also registered a case under relevant sections of law against them.
Meanwhile, police Station Bari Brahmana on the information of District Special Branch (DSB) team, Jammu headed by DySP Sagar Singh, apprehended two persons namely Ajay Singh S/o Ranjeet Singh R/o Bassi Kalan Bari-Brahmana and Sahil Singh alias Tindu S/o Kulbir Singh R/o Smailpur Bari-Brahmana at Dollian Bari-Brahmana and recovered 400 capsules Proxivan Spas from them.
