Bandh observed in Kishtwar

JAMMU, Nov 8: While night curfew remained in force in Kishtwar, a complete bandh was observed in the town today on the call of organizations representing both the communities in protest against the killing of BJP leader Anil Parihar and his brother Ajit Parihar.
SSP Kishtwar Rajinder Gupta told the Excelsior that situation was well under control in Kishtwar and day curfew has been lifted. However, as a precautionary measure, the night curfew from 6 pm to 7 am will remain in force, he added.

Meanwhile, all shops and business establishments remained closed in entire Kishtwar town and surroundings during the curfew relaxation period as a mark of protest against the killing of Parihar brothers.
The Vishwa Hindu Parishad also took out a candle light march to pay tributes to the BJP leader and his brother, who were gunned down by the militants in Kishtwar town last Thursday night.
