KISHTWAR, Feb 14: A total bandh was observed today in Kishtwar town against the death of a youth, who was killed yesterday due to fall in a gorge in Bindraban area after police raid and chase to arrest some gamblers.
Though the accused police officials including a Sub Inspector and two constables of police post Kuleed were booked yesterday by Kishtwar police, yet the angry people did not pacify and today observed complete bandh in Kishtwar town.
Each and every shop of the town was closed and a graveyard like peace was prevailing all around. No protest and any untoward incident were witnessed in the town.
