Banda Singh HC to face MBS Simbal in Hockey final

JAMMU, May 21: Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Hockey Club will lock horns with MBS Simbal Camp in the final of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sub Junior Hockey Championship, being organized under the aegis of Hockey J&K at KK Hakhu Astroturf Hockey Stadium, here.
In the first semifinal, BBSB Poonch defeated Bandhu Rakh Hockey Club by three goals to one (3:1).
From BBSB, the first goal was scored by Simranjeet, second by Nahib and the third Rudra, while from BRHC, the goal was scored by Kirandeel Singh.
In another semifinal, MRS Simbal Camp defeated Dashmesh Hockey Club Nanak Nagar by 3:2. From MRS Hockey Club, the 1st goal was scored by Sukhpreet, while the second and third goals were netted by Manjeet and Kamalpreet Singh. From Dashmesh Hockey Club, the first goal was netted by Maganjot Singh and the second by Suryaveer.
Dr Taran Singh, Principal Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Ashok Singh, Manager Astroturf Stadium, PD Singh, coach Jammu University, TP Singh, Kashmir Sikh Sangat, PP Singh and GS Bakshi, General Secretary Hockey J&K.
The matches were officiated by Tejinder Singh, Angad Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Balmeet Singh and Harjeer Singh.
