It is heartening that following court judgment , using of loud speakers without seeking prior permission from concerned authorities has been declared unlawful in UP.
Noise pollution is creating havoc and almost everyone is its victim but it is a tragedy that cheap politics is done even in this matter involving the health of an ordinary citizen.
The state of Jammu and Kashmir is affected by the use of loud speakers and that also at odd hours and in high decibel volumes.
It would be a service to the cause of the health of the people to ban the use of these loud speakers in our state except on special occasions with proper permission.
Let us keep respect for the fundamental right of the people to live peacefully and respectfully and ban unauthorised and rampant use of loud speakers in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
