Bali reviews implementation of decisions taken in Kishtwar DDB

KISHTWAR, Aug 17: Minister for Health and Medical Education Bali Bhagat, who is also the chairman of District Development Board Kishtwar, today chaired a DDB review meeting.
The Chairman reviewed the implementation of decisions taken in the board meeting besides taking stock of sector-wise physical and financial achievements registered in the district under district plan.
Minister of State for Transport, PWD (R&B) Sunil Sharma, Vice Chairman State Kissan Advisory Board Daljit Singh, MLA Inderwal G.M. Saroori, MLC Firdous Ahmed Tak,  MLC Sajjad Kichloo, DDC G.N. Balwan, SSP Sandeep Wazir, ADC  besides heads of various departments attended the meeting.
The DDC presented a detailed report through power point presentation regarding the status of implementation of the decisions taken in the DDB meeting besides physical and financial achievements recorded by different departments for the financial year 2017-18.
Speaking in the meeting, Bali Bhagat directed all the officers to strictly implement the decisions taken in the DDB meeting and work in a coordinated manner to achieve desirable results.
The Minister directed the heads of  key departments to keep a strict check on quality of works to create durable assets. He asked the concerned departments to put in extra efforts for judicious and effective utilisation of funds and removing bottlenecks, if any.
The Chairman laid special emphasis on rehabilitation of Sukhnai fire victims and directed the Conservator of Forest Chenab circle Doda to provide timber to the victims at the earliest.
CMO Kishtwar was directed to submit DPR for facelifting of district hospital Kishtwar. It was also impressed upon all the departments to immediately remove the official attachments in their respective offices. Besides, directions were given to Deputy Commissioner to submit a copy of minutes of DDB review meeting to the legislators for verification of implementation of decision taken in it.
Legislators put forth their demands and concerns before the chair, responding to which the Minister directed the concerned officers to take appropriate action in this regard within shortest possible time. He warned the officer that any laxity in this regard shall be dealt very strictly.
Earlier, the Minister inaugurated Govt Urban Health Centre at Kuleed which has been constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 2.18 lakh.
