Bali calls for fine-tuning functioning of JK State Paramedical Council

   JAMMU: Minister for Health & Medical Education, Bali Bhagat today called for streamlining the functioning of J&K State Para-Medical Council (JKSPMC) to ensure quality education in the paramedical institutions across the State.

          While reviewing the functioning of JKSPMC at a meeting held here today, the Minister directed the concerned officers to take appropriate steps to ensure necessary infrastructure, teaching facility and other requirements laid down in the norms to improve the quality of education in these para-medical institutions. He directed for undertaking regular inspections of the institutions to enforce strict adherence of norms. He called for strict action against all such bodies lacking necessary facilities and violating the norms, the Minister asserted.

          Maintaining that Government is committed to promote quality education in all para-medical institutions in the State, the Minister said that every necessary step will be taken in this direction. He said the Government will also ensure timely conduct of exams and admissions as per the schedule in a very transparent manner.

Gillani, Director Health Services, Kashmir, Dr. Saleem-ur-Rehman, Mission Director, NHM, Dr. Mohan Singh, Registrar JKSPMC, Dr. Sandeep Singh, Additional Secretary, Health & Medical Education, Naseer Ahmed Wani and other senior officers associated with the Council.
