JAMMU, June 4: Forest Magistrate Jammu Wangial Tsering has rejected the bail application of Rajinder Kumar, son of Puran Chand of Patyali Chak Marh, who was allegedly involved in kidnapping of a minor.
After hearing Prosecuting Officer Ankush Sharma for the State, Forest Magistrate observed, “the applicant cannot be released on bail when main accused is still absconding and the girl is yet to be recovered”.
“The offence registered against the accused persons is heinous in nature and the investigation is still at infancy stage. The release of accused at this stage will hamper in the investigation”, the court said while rejecting the bail application.
