JAMMU, Sept 25: International Bahai community in association with Social Economic Environment Development Society (SEEDS) organised a meeting at Bahai House at Trikuta Nagar here wherein Bahai followers gathered in large number.
Sanjay Kamal Sagar, secretary Jammu Centre, introduced all the guests followed by prayer done for world peace.
On this occasion, Anil Saberwal, secretary Regional Bahai Centre and former Professor DBN College Chandigarh addressed the gathering and threw light on Bahai faith. He said we all often waste our precious time on social sites and spare no time for prayer of the God. He said, prayer is direct step to heaven which brings perfection, confidence and kindness to man. He further informed that 40 Ruhi and Home Devotional Bahai classes are being run at Chandigarh.
Naveen Shah, Conservator of Forests was also present in the devotional meeting who appreciated the efforts and shared basic information regarding Bahai faith. Mrs Homa Zamani chairperson also spoke on the subject which too was appreciated by the guests.
Nikhil Gupta, Assistant Professor, co-ordinator at Dogra Educational Trust and co-ordinator in JKP department also shared his views on the subject.
Rampaul Dogra, general secretary SEEDS, a social activist and journalist attended the meeting and shared his views. On the request of audience he also presented a son sung by Mohd Rafi which was applauded by all.
Prominent among those who also attended were Anil Sood, Mona Sood, JP Matto, Nikhil Gupta, Harish Jahirey, Sarweshwar Sharma, Smarika, Sheetal, Poonam Verma, Harry Sood, Vikas, Babita, Shamsher and others.
Homa Zamani presented vote of thanks.
