Awareness programme on skill development schemes organized

JAMMU, May 6: Supertech (India) Computer Education today organized an awareness programme regarding skill development programs launched by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, for the awareness of the students and public at large.
Sat Sharma, Minister for Housing and Urban Development, was the chief guest on the occasion. Over 200 candidates, mostly women, participated in the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the woman candidates coming out in such large numbers in today’s programme is an indication of changing social norms. While interacting with the participants, he advised them to learn new skills. “India needs you and your skills. You are the power that will make India strong, you are the people for whom the Prime Minister dreams big,” he added.
The Minister said Supertech (India) Computer Education, is a responsible training partner in the nation-building initiative of skilling India. He said that Government wanted to make youth to realize their power and it is spending liberally in this direction.
Ayodhya Gupta, BJP district president, Jammu West, also highlighted various Centre/State sponsored schemes.
Puneet Mahajan, Training Partner, while sharing the details of the programme said, “Under the renewed initiative over 10 million youth would be trained in various fields thus marking a welcome change in their lives. “I call upon the youth of J&K to get maximum benefit under the scheme”, he added.
BJP State general secretary, Pawan Khajuria, Sanjay Baru, Jugal Kishore Gupta, Pardamun Singh, Jeet Angral, Veena Gupta, Prem Gupta, Sanjeev Sharma, members from PMKVY and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
