AVM Rajiv from Jammu receives Ati Vishisht Seva Medal

JAMMU, Jan 28: The son of the soil Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Rajiv Gandotra received Ati Vishisht Seva Medal on 68th Republic Day from President of India Pranab Mukherjee.
Presently heading Western Air Command, Rajiv Gandotra, son of JL Gandotra is hailing from Jhullaka Mohallah, Jain Bazaar and is presently posted in New Delhi.
He did his schooling from DBN School Jammu and later completed his engineering from Patiala University.
He had joined the Indian Air Force (IAF) as a Pilot Officer in 1982 and is presently ranked as Air Vice Marshal (AVM)
In an interaction with the EXCELSIOR, Rajiv Gandotra said “I feel really blissful after being awarded the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal on Republic Day from President of India Pranab Mukherjee. I dedicate this medal to my parents and well-wishers, who always supported me”.
