NEW DELHI, Dec 12: Australian High Commissioner to India, Patrick Suckling called on former Chief Minister and National Conference Working President Omar Abdullah . Suckling was accompanied by Political Councilor in the Australian Embassy, Jenny Grant-Curnow.
Omar Abdullah and the High Commissioner discussed various aspects of cooperation and progressing relationship between the two countries and also the overall scenario in Jammu and Kashmir. Omar Abdullah highlighted the promising tourism potential of the State and expressed hope that Australia and various other countries would encourage its citizens to visit the State in larger numbers.
